Chasity Klaverkamp

Chasity is a state licensed interpreter (AZ); holding a provisional C license.  She has worked as a professional freelance interpreter for about two years in the Phoenix area. Her passion is to help others who are just entering the field by organizing study groups to work towards certification, creating possible networking opportunities, and participating in events related to our field.

Chasity feels that community participation and working with experienced interpreters is the best approach for novice interpreters to become successful. She has enjoyed serving as the RID Region V Secretary and is currently the Arizona RID Vice President.

Chasity was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She is the oldest sibling of three with deaf parents. She resides in Mesa, Arizona and is currently pursuing a BA in communications from Arizona State University.
